Plugging
ipod into Factory fitted Car Aux connections.
Use
this option where your vehicle already has an aux or Auxiliary input and you
require an adaptor to plug in your ipod or a cable to plug in your mp3 player.
Similarly if you have an ipod connection and want to plug in your MP3 player,

Plugging
ipod MP3 Player into Factory fit radio via CD Changer port.
 These
usually connect via CD Changer port and are available for a number of
vehicles. They give good audio quality and for ipod offer features such as
control of the ipod through steering controls, basic information and
charging of the ipod. Where you vehicle is not listed here, see option 3.
For aftermarket fit radios such as Sony, Kenwood, Alpine, Blaupunkt, JVC
or Pioneer, see top of left hand menu.

Where
no aux or CD Changer input to Car Radio is Available.
Use
iO Play, iO Talk or iO Connect to Drive speakers directly. If the car
radio does not have an Aux input or CD Changer input interface you can
use these devices to connect to the car radio speakers using the main
radio connector. The iO Play and iO Talk give you music streaming from
your phone, iphone or MP3 player and Bluetooth hands free while iO
Connect creates a simple Jack Aux Input, all are suitable for
non-amplified vehicles and may require SOT Leads to install.
FM
Modulation with iConnect-FM or FMMOD01.
Create an input through the car radio aerial.
iConnect FM
This
FM modulator can be used to create an ipod audio input into an original
factory fitted head unit, where there is no existing audio input. These
are only compatible with Non-Amplified Aerials. It does give a high
quality Audio input and has been carefully developed by connects2 to
provide quality music to your radio. For aerial adaptors to connect

special version of this for USA customers, please ask for iconnect-FMUS

FM MOD01
This
FM modulator can be used to create an audio input into an original factory
fitted head unit, where there is no existing audio input. These are only compatible
with Non-Amplified Aerials. It can then be
used in conjunction with PC7-POD-200 above to interface with an ipod but
SOT leads will be required if the current radio is not ISO connected, see
below. You
can also use NX-JC-102 or NX-JC-202 to interface only with the 3.5mm jack
socket on the ipod, or any other MP3 player. |
