The Can Hi and Can Low were for the very
very rare circumstance that a Volvo ISO unit was being installed in the vehicle
and these were needed, they would not be required for an aftermarket unit.
Some vehicles have a centre speaker in the dash,
this is run from the power block, these wires are included from the left channel
so the centre speaker can be maintained if fitted.
Regarding the sub in the rear, it depends
how it is linked in with the unit. Sometimes the sub input is piggy backed from
the rear speakers, other have a din plug at the stereo marked ‘amp’. If
yours is piggy backed from rear speakers then the wiring loom will maintain the
sub connection, but if running from a din plug off the stereo then a different
setup would be required.
