On 3 series BMW's between Sep 98 and Feb 01 and the BMW Mini from Aug 01 >, the head unit connections varied from a normal BMW type Round Pin connection and a Flat Pin connection. In order to purchase the correct fitting kit for your requirements it is advised to remove and check the head unit connections before ordering your kit.
